July Virtual Meeting: Risk Management

Risk Management is a vital part of any project or program.  Today we will be looking at a real life situation to examine how to use risk management to for decisions, reduce impact of threats, promote opportunities and to help achieve primary objectives.   We will look at the basics of Risk Management: Identifying risks, analyzing the risks, planning the response, and monitoring.

  1. Discuss How to Identify Risks
  2. Look at different ways to analyze risks
  3. Determine a risk response
  4. Execute and monitor your progress

Location: Virtual Meeting. Link will be sent out day before meeting, Please register for link.

Registration for this online event will close midnight, the night prior to the day of the event.
You will receive an email containing all of the information you will need to log onto the webinar the day prior to the event. The information will be emailed to the email address you used to register with on the, and it will be sent from the PMI Northern Nevada website. Robin's Bio

Ms. Robin Bloom holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. She also has most of her Masters in Material Science and Engineering from Lehigh University. She has taken many post education extension courses in Marketing,
Management, Project Management and Risk Management. Robin holds both her PMP and RMP certifications from the Project Management Institute. Robin has been certified as a Project Management Professional for 12 years and a Risk Management Professional for 8 years. Her first experience with PM was as an Engineering Manager assigned to design and manufacture a new product for a capital equipment company. From that point on, Robin has continued to grow her skills in project and program management. Robin has been working as a process engineer, manager, director, project manager and now program manager for the past 25+ years. Recently Robin has started Project Management Offices at 2 companies.
