Steven will be giving a PowerPoint presentation with a general overview of Hot August Nights - one of the nation’s largest all volunteer-based, non-profit organizations - and the project management skills utilized to present America’s #1-rated outdoor nostalgic and classic car event year after year by “Drive Magazine” and “Car and Driver”.

Steven's Bio

An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy after six years of distinguished service, Steven has over twenty-five years of employment in the electronics design and manufacturing industry, working closely with Program and Project Managers in a wide variety
of fields including the Semiconductor, Aerospace, Commercial audio/video, Department of Defense, Datacenter PDU and Biotech industries.
Steven volunteers with several organizations:
• IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industry
• PSI – Strategies for Life Success
• Hot August Nights
As Chairman of the Hot August Nights Car Events Committee, he manages or is involved with numerous events throughout each year that Hot August Nights sponsors or participates in such as the Spring Fever Revival, the Summer Salute, the Virginia City Show-n-Shine and Cruises, the Main Event Downtown Reno Show-n-Shine and Cruises, the Sparks Show-n-Shine and Cruises, the Grand Sierra Resort Show-n-Shine, the Fall Frenzy and the Sparks Hometowne Christmas Parade. His committee is comprised of 5 Assistant Chairman, 12 Managers and over 100 dedicated member volunteers!
