Sometimes the most valuable lessons come from the most unlikely teachers. Dogs, with their language barriers and unique interests, can teach us valuable lessons in leadership, communication, and performance that are directly applicable to real life business and relationship situations. Please join us to hear about the lessons Chadwick’s dogs have taught him that have helped him develop successful teams around the world.

Chadwick Spencer has worked in multiple industries including semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, mineral exploration, mining, and consulting. He has had the opportunity to participate in projects and teams in several countries including China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Canada, Chile, Peru, Suriname, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Most recently he has worked as the senior data administrator for the Barrick Goldstrike mine where he led a team in improving data efficiency, data quality, and user experience. Ultimately, Chadwick and his team were able to provide the Goldstrike geologists with a 20% improvement on time performing database related tasks. Chadwick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science in Mineral Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno. Chadwick enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his fiancé, Nora, and their two dogs, Piper and Millie.
